Justified by Faith

Romans 5:1

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

At the heart of the Gospel is a beautiful truth: we are not only saved but also justified. We are made right with God, neither by our works nor by our perfection, but by faith. We are no longer separated from God because we believe in Jesus Christ. Moreover, He welcomes us into His presence as His beloved children.

This justification brings something priceless into our lives: peace with God. It’s not just a feeling of calm; it’s a restored relationship, a deep and unshakable assurance that we are no longer at odds with our Creator. We are fully accepted, fully loved, and fully forgiven because of Jesus.

In a world filled with unrest and uncertainty, God’s peace protects our hearts like a strong fortress. It reminds us that we don’t need to earn His approval; it is already ours through Christ. When guilt tries to accuse us, when fear tries to consume us, we can stand firm in the truth that we have peace with God forever.

Today, take a moment to rest in this peace. Let it not only quiet your heart and lift your burdens, but also renew your joy.

You are justified! You are loved and you are at peace with God through Jesus Christ, your Savior.

Prayer:
Thank You, Lord, for the gift of justification through faith. Thank You for the peace that comes from knowing I am right with You. Help me live each day in the joy and freedom of this truth. Amen.
