1 Samuel 12:22

For the Lord will not forsake His people, for His great name’s sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you His people.

The Almighty God created this whole universe by speaking His Word. But He created man with His hands, in His own image. He made us beautifully and wonderfully. According to Genesis 1:28, God loves us so much that He gave us (yes, us) authority over everything He created. He blessed us to be fruitful and increase in number. He takes great delight in calling us His own.

Yet sometimes we turn our faces away from God and choose the wrong path. We make decisions without seeking His guidance. However, today’s verse reminds us that no matter how far we go, we are never too far from the grace of God. He will not forsake us. He has sealed our relationship with Him in grace.

The Lord embraced us and chose us while we were still in our mothers’ wombs. He knew us even before we existed. God’s love toward us is not driven by our merit or perfection but by His own character. He remains faithful because His name represents truth, grace, and love.

So, let today’s verse remind us that we are seen, valued, and sustained by a God who remains present through every season of life, faithfully walking with His people — always.

During this Lenten season, let’s be grateful for the grace of God that has sustained us thus far. Let’s hold on to the promise that He will never leave us nor forsake us because we are His own.

I have no words how should I explain this one was really for me. I was more into sin even when I was praying and worshipping after that I used to sin and only one thing used to come in my mind that god has forsaken me or because I have committed sin after knowing his word that’s why he has left me but after reading this it really touched me and I’ll continue more in my spiritual life and will repent more. thank u jesus for this word today. amen
