This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 KJV
The truth being that, we have been adopted into His kingdom as daughters and sons, we have been given a new home and a new hope. This new lease of life enables us to be born again as new individuals, a clean slate, a new canvas where God fills nothing but the goodness and riches of His kingdom.
Talking about the kingdom of God, when Jesus ascended into heaven He blessed us with the Holy Spirit to dwell among us. The word of God urges us to live a life worthy of His kingdom. Living among so many non-believers, a world taken on by trends, whims and fancies of this carnal world it can be very hard to stand our ground and hold onto our sanity. But praise God, for He is faithful. For the God we serve did not give us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.
Therefore, we are different, we ought to set an example for the generations to come. We must live a lifestyle of worship, more like a sacrificial offering of our lives itself. For in this will we walk in the spirit of God, in this shall we please the Lord. Let us learn to rely on the Holy spirit to direct our path. Remember, when life gets hard to stand, let us learn to kneel cast our burdens at the feet of Jesus and rejoice in the hope of eternal life that we are already living in Him.
