I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. Proverbs: 8:17 (NIV)
The above verses are the words of wisdom from King Solomon, the wisest man to have ever lived, as revealed to him by GOD ALMIGHTY. Our GOD seeks relationships, not traditional faith and rhetoric indulgences.
Here in these verses, our GOD is saying that those who are eager to have a relationship with GOD, will carry the presence of GOD and will be deeply loved by HIM. So when we look out for our GOD in every decision we make and every relationship we enter into, we will find HIS presence.
Only those who long for HIS presence will look out for HIM in every area of their life. GOD loves this kind of genuine love for HIM. a love where our fears don’t stop us from confessing our mistakes, not only to our GOD but also to the person whom we have wronged.
In our life with Christ, let us not be quick to find the fault in others, rather correct our approach towards people and love them for who they are. That is when we tell our GOD with our actions, that we love HIM so much that we are not complaining but making self-corrections to become right in HIS sight.
True seekers of GOD, concentrate on bettering themselves and their surroundings, not by complaining, gossiping, or criticizing, but by genuinely putting efforts to know their weaknesses and flaws and changing them to become their greatest strength.
