Mask up with GOD

All you Israelites, trust in the Lord, he is their help and shield. House of Aaron, trust in the Lord, he is their help and shield. Psalm 115: 9-10 

In this present pandemic season, whenever we go out, we wear a mask compulsorily and carry sanitizers with us, because they are a protective shield against the deadly virus hovering around us. We believe that wearing a mask will protect us, similarly in Psalm 115, GOD is telling us that HE is our protective shield and we ought to trust in HIM.  GOD is our mask against every attack of the enemy, we are covered by HIS grace and favor.

However, grim the situation be, whatever may the uncertainties that tomorrow holds for us, we must be very sure of one thing concerning our lives, and that is ” JESUS IS FOR US AND HE IS OUR SHIELD AND PROTECTION”. When we walk in this assurance, we will be strengthened to face the challenges that come by us with great strength and calm assurance.

In Philipines 4:6, the word of God tells us  “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”  let us make this verse our motto, every time, we are faced with a surge of anxiety and depression or anger and helplessness through the day, let us recite this verse to ourselves and as we do that, GOD will bless us with HIS peace that surpasses all human understanding, and peace will reign in the most distressing situations as well.

So today is a new day and GOD gives us HIS new and tender mercies for this day, let us receive it and stay strong in HIM.
