Psalm 121:3-4
“He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.”
Stress is the root cause of many health issues that people are facing today, and one of them is lack of sleep. According to the APA, 42 percent of adults report that their sleep quality is fair or poor, and 43 percent report that stress has caused them to lie awake at night in the past month.
But what makes us stressed? There could be multiple reasons, such as job pressure, providing for the family, getting a good job, financial responsibilities, work politics, ensuring children are on the right track, and so on. We tend to believe that we are in control of everything around us and that our worries and stress can fix everything. We can be in control or learn to have faith in Jesus. We know that He is in charge of our lives, and He takes care of everything when we take care of our relationship with Him.
Over the years, we have seen some great changes happening around us, especially during lockdown and post. His grace, and His grace alone, kept us going. When we are awake and when we sleep, you know what happens? God keeps going. He neither slumbers nor sleeps. Pretty humbling, right? The world keeps running and does not stop for anyone, but God watches over us every single minute and ensures we are protected and provided for no matter what. God has no blind spots. He sees everything.
Sometimes when ur alone your heart grumbles and cries out saying why god we are alone? The faith is the same but this question comes and you don’t feel like doing any.
