Exodus 15:11 NKJV
“Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?”
Today’s verse is a part of the song Moses sang after God led the Israelites through the Red Sea. The questions Moses asks are rhetorical because there is absolutely no one like our God. He cannot be compared with global leaders, kings who’ve ruled nations, or prophets and learned men who’ve wowed the world with their wisdom.
He is the only Holy One – without sin and blameless in every way. His glory is matchless, and He’s been revered as King of kings and Lord of lords for thousands of years. The wonders He’s performed have amazed millions around the world for generations. Who is like our incomparable God? There truly is no one. If we’ve imbibed this truth in our innermost being, we’ll also live in reverent awe of our God’s sovereignty.
The One who created the universe and put the stars in their place also cares about the petty matters that trouble our hearts. Whatever is weighing on your mind today is nothing compared to what God can do. Draw close to Him and let Him transform your life for the better. Impossible is nothing for our Lord Jesus Christ. The next time you’re worried about something, remind yourself who your God is.
