For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. 1 Corinthians 3:9 (NIV)
Incredibly, the Lord invites us to co-labor with Him. Receiving Christ is only the beginning, in response to the Lord’s work in our hearts, we are called to share the good news of the redemptive work of our Lord Jesus Christ to the world which desperately needs the Savior.
We are called by the Lord to be fellow laborers in His kingdom, and we are filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit to proclaim the good news of salvation and a restored relationship with our Creator.
Our Lord in His grace would often allow us to meet people in unexpected places who need His extraordinary deliverance. We need the guidance of the Holy Spirit to lead us to people whose heart He has already prepared to receive the word of God. Imagine the eternal ramification of changing lives because of our diligent, the selfless sowing of the seed -the word of God. We must never lose our focus on our calling to work joyfully in the vineyard of God.
The Lord Jesus Christ says to us today as He said to Simon, ‘Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men’ (Luke 5:10), He invites us to do the same. Sharing the Lord’s word to others is our spiritual responsibility, and it is His responsibility to make that eternal seed grow and be fruitful.
Thanks Pastor, for such a marvelous wonderful promise of God. Oh! It’s really delicious, beyond description. Being a coworker what a amazing opportunity God has grant to all of His sons and daughters. Really it’s exciting to each one of us.
Let’s lift up our hands and voices to adore, honor and worship only Jesus Christ our Saviour. Yes, truly there is one like Him. He’s good good Father.
Loving Heavenly father, Thank you for your grace and mercy and love.
In the mighty matchless name of Jesus we pray. Amen
