Raising 3G Kids (A Grounded, Godly Generation)

Psalm 28:7

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise Him.

The life of a mother is an adventure mixed with a whole lot of responsibility. This, along with the multitude of varying daily experiences that can either sap her energy or make her soar. Some mothers are able to balance their husband, their children, their home, their careers, their hobbies, their health, their workouts and even more. While others struggle with unimaginable challenges and find it difficult to find even quiet time for themselves.

No mother feels perfect, but the Lord knows that you, beloved, are the perfect mother for your child. The lessons that you can learn can be learnt only with the child/children you’ve been entrusted with-biologically or even adopted! We just need to be open to learn in the manner God wants to teach us that we can raise a GROUNDED GODLY GENERATION.

Remember, that THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH when you are weak and burdened. When you feel like you’ve given your all, HE UNDERSTANDS. Because He knows what it is to live a selfless life. When you feel helpless and insecure, THE LORD IS YOUR SHIELD! Place your worries and fears at His feet. Learn to surrender your cares and stressful thoughts to Him. Teach yourself to trust in Him with an unwavering and unshakable trust. Be confident that HE IS YOUR HELPER! Love yourself and you will be able to love your kids far better.

Dear Mother, thank you for making efforts in teaching your children the ways of the Lord. Thank you for depositing the Word of God in their lives through your prayers. The Lord has seen all your sacrifices and WILL REWARD YOU IN HIS TIME. Happy Mothers’ Day!!!
