The Lord executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed. Psalm 103:6
We frequently overlook God’s faithfulness when faced with trials or persecution. When there are delays, we start to doubt God’s timing. Our faith is put to the test by how well we can suffer and wait patiently on God. King David, who believed in the love of God, begins this psalm by expressing his gratitude to God from the depths of his soul, where he recognizes His goodness and extols Him.
He then reminds them of their captivity and how God delivered them by overcoming their adversaries and defending them from all angles. The situation is unchanged today. Things are the same today too. If God rescued you once, He will do it again. When circumstances make you anxious, recall all those instances when God was your defense and shield. Without your knowledge, He has put you under the shadows of His wings and charged His angels to stand guard around you.
Though situations may look grave and people around us seem like bloodthirsty wolves, remember we do not war against flesh and blood. God is still the same. His promise endures forever. And HE WILL execute righteousness and justice for you.
