Psalm 112:3: Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
God blesses those who fear and honour him as well as obey His commandments. The idea here is anybody who fears God and does His commandments will lack no good thing. The Bible also tells that those who fear the Lord lack nothing. He does not withhold any good thing from those who walk uprightly or is righteous. His or her house will be full of wealth and riches. His or her righteousness shall endure for ever.
Job was one such man who eschewed evil. He was blessed with wealth and riches. He was a righteous man. If it had not been the devil who tried his best to break Job’s faith in God, Job would not have lost anything in the first place. Of course, his latter life was more blessed and prosperous than his former life. There is no specific formula or theory for a child of God on getting rich or becoming wealthy. Though there are many crooked and wicked ways to get rich overnight, no child of God should ever fall prey to such shortcuts. A shortcut will cut us short from God. The only way for a believer to be prosperous and be rich with the material things of this world is by just obeying and respecting God. God will take care of the rest in your life. What if we don’t get rich by obeying and being fearful of God? Do we dump Him and walk away from Him? The answer is no, but trust Him for your day to day needs and be thankful for that.
If we continually seek God with all sincerity and purity of our hearts, God will take us to heights. He will reward each one of us according to what we deserve here on earth. Obey Him and live upright lives.
