Hebrews 11:6

“Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

Ask yourself this: is it possible to breathe without oxygen, live without water, or even defy gravity while on the earth? Some things are impossible to achieve without the prerequisites. Today’s verse reminds us that it is impossible to please God without faith.

Many people know that God exists, but not everyone seeks Him. Some think of Him as inaccessible – a power or energy that exists far away in the universe. Others know Him as the Almighty God who created us, but that’s that.

Today, God is giving us an opportunity to know Him better. It is not enough to know that He exists; we must try to seek and understand Him. He is ready to reveal Himself to anyone who desires to have a personal encounter with Him.

God is nearer to us than we think. He walks beside us and wants to have a close relationship with us. And as we open our hearts to receive Him, He will build our faith slowly but surely until we put our complete trust in Him.

Faith allows God to do wonders in our lives and enables us to unlock His blessings. A life without faith limits God’s wonder-working power, thereby making life difficult and insecure. If you want to feel God’s presence, enjoy His blessings, and give Him complete control, then increase your faith factor.

Prayer: Dear Lord, help me trust in You. Build my faith in such a way that I may never doubt You. I love You, Lord! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
