The God of prosperity

Genesis 39:2:  And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.

Not everyone will accept the fact that the Lord is with us when we get falsely accused, disowned, insulted, etc.  All of us have one common question to ask in our troubled times and that question is, “God are you still with me”? Joseph underwent mockery and insult and was ultimately sold in Egypt.  In all these, he was not shaken.  God was with him. Because God was with him, he prospered in everything he did.

There are times when we get disheartened and start to lose focus on God.  People whom we thought will stay with us would gradually start walking away from us.  The ones whom we used to depend on to share our hearts, would soon become our opponents.  Every thing that we once looked upon to for support and guidance would suddenly start to collapse.  In all these things, we should remember that God remains the same and He will not change.  Our situation will not make Him change His mind about being with us.  He will be with us and prosper us.  He is the glory and the lifter up of our heads.  He will give you victory in the very place you were humiliated and condemned.  Joseph was promoted as the second in command next to Pharaoh, the king of Egypt.  His dream/vision was fulfilled by God.

You may have a dream or a vision of rising to heights.  Maybe something is preventing or hindering you from achieving that.  Don’t worry about it.  The God of Joseph will be with you too and make you prosperous.  All that you need to do is hang on there and believe and trust in His promises.  His favour is upon you.  You will be blessed.
