Psalm 31:19 – “Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who trust in You in the presence of the sons of men!”
It is impossible to measure the goodness of our God. We may have experienced His goodness through His many acts of kindness in our lives. He is a God who will transform a curse into a blessing when we obey and follow Him- that is how much He loves us.
When we trust and obey the Lord, the enemy can only try to harm us but he never succeeds. So, when we are going through our momentary troubles, we need to continue to praise His name and exalt the Lord, while laying down our worries and fears at His feet.
Our God is a good God, and a God of the impossible! No one can reverse what He says, and when He speaks, His voice shakes the earth! When He speaks, His word cuts between soul and spirit, penetrating the innermost parts of our being, cutting off what needs to be removed, bringing restoration and life where we need it the most.
Our God is a good God, His love, goodness and mercy endure forever! Not that we deserve it, but because of His grace and the Blood of Jesus shed on the cross, we have access to it. Moreover, because of His mercies which are renewed every morning, we are not consumed.
He loved us first, He called us by our name first, and He gave up His life for us so that through His death we are saved and have eternal life! Hallelujah!
