Psalm 32:8 – “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.”
Where do you look when you need information about a particular topic? In earlier days, we might have turned to encyclopaedias or library books to gain understanding. But right now, Google and Siri have become the resources most of us first turn to. While information from apps and gadgets may help us in some parts of our lives, there’s only one source of wisdom that truly teaches us how to live – God’s Word.
The Bible was essentially written by the Holy Spirit through human hands. Treasures of wisdom are packed between the pages, giving us a glimpse of the love and grace of our Mighty God. If you are at crossroads in your life and you need discernment to choose the right path, make sure you’re spending ample time at God’s feet, reading His Word and seeking His will.
God says He will counsel you with His eye on you. His gazed is fixed on you – He is the God who sees. He understands what you are going through. He’s already planned the path you are to take and the blessings you are to receive along the way. When you diligently seek the Lord and follow His instruction, He will lead you every step of the way. You don’t have to fear, God’s in control of your destiny.
