Romans 8:30 NIV
“And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.”
The Lord of the Holy Bible is like a strategist with brilliant intellect and creative ideas. He has a structured plan for everything and does nothing haphazardly. He may have created the entire earth in just six days, but He did it with utmost precision and perfection. Every creation was first a thought in His mighty mind before it came into existence, and the above verse confirms this statement.
It is imperative to know that our Lord loved and cared for us, even before He created us in His image. He meticulously designed and put together each one of us in His mind before He sent us to this world. He takes delight in each one of us and calls us His masterpiece.
The Holy Bible uses words like predestined, justified, and glorified so that we have a better understanding of our worth. God created us with a purpose in mind; we are not accidents. He declared us righteous even though He was aware of our sinful nature. And finally, one day, when our work here on earth is over, we will be glorified through Him.
So, the next time you think less of yourself, think again. The one who created you thinks you are worthy and valuable. You are a part of His divine plan. You may be going through circumstances and situations that make you feel depressed and hopeless, but do not let that keep you down for long because you were made for bigger things. Trust God in your troubles, knowing that He who created you has already given you victory in every area of your life.
Dear Lord, I know that You created me with love and for a purpose. I thank You that I matter to You and You are interested in my being. I pray that I will lead a life that will glorify You and fulfil the purpose You created me for. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
