Psalm 33:4 NKJV
“For the word of the Lord is right, and all His work is done in truth.”
Psalm 33 calls us to praise God for His creation, His sovereignty, and His providence. The psalm reminds us to celebrate God’s character, His steadfast love, and His involvement here and now.
In today’s verse, the psalmist offers encouragement by proclaiming that God’s Word is right and true. His Word aligns perfectly with His will. So, we can fearlessly rely on His Word and trust that it leads to righteousness and a blessed life.
It’s not just God’s Word that is right; His work is also done in truth. God’s work reflects His consistency, reliability, and integrity. His nature is evident in the way His promises are being fulfilled. God is faithful in all He does. He acts in love, justice, and righteousness.
So, we can surely trust both God’s Word and God’s actions. We can put our faith in Him, knowing that He is consistent, just and dependable. When we face uncertainties or challenges, we can hold onto the assurance that God’s Word will always guide us in truth, and His actions will never fall short of what He has promised.
