2 Corinthians 9:15
Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) This is how God the Father gives-wholeheartedly, generously, not under compulsion, but out of abounding love. When God the Father decided to give YOU a gift, He decided to give you THE BEST-CHRIST JESUS!!! It most definitely cost the Father the most inconceivable pain to put His only Son through such barbarous torture and pain. There was NO OTHER WAY for you to know His love.
We all need to be saved from the clutches of sin, depravity, sickness and death. We are bound to the principalities and powers of darkness unless we make that choice of accepting and experiencing the LIGHT. This Light of the world (John 8:12) had to purchase you from the darkness with the price of His own life!!! What He gives you freely came at a very heavy cost.
Our Father God has given us the gift of salvation through Christ Jesus. You don’t have to pay for a gift, just receive it with a grateful heart. Yet, salvation had to be first purchased by Jesus. Which is why He had to go to the cross of Calvary. Now, the choice to accept or reject this gift is yours. Even after accepting it, the decision to utilize it, apply it and live in it is up to you. Don’t just take the gift and tuck it in a corner, rather, make it the cornerstone on which you build your life up on.
