Trust God to Act

Psalm 37:5-6 NKJV

“Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.”

God has blessed us with incredible minds that can think amazing thoughts. But a real problem many of us suffer from is overthinking. The minute a worrying thought enters our mind, we tend to keep mulling it over which could lead to intense anxiety. At other times, we strive hard towards solutions, forgetting that we can take a minute to pray about it before we forge ahead.

Today’s verse reminds us that we can yield our thoughts and plans completely to God, and look to Him for guidance and support. We can trust Him to accomplish all that He’s planned out for us. When we commit ourselves to God, we have the assurance that He will act on our behalf and bring His perfect plans for our life to completion.

If you’re going through a difficult situation, especially one where you’re being unfairly treated, stay strong and trust God to bring justice. Even if it looks like you’re walking through a dark valley with no light at the end of the tunnel, remember that your Heavenly Father is by Your side. He will light up your path and give you the clarity you need to walk confidently according to His will.
