1 Corinthians 10:13 – There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
We always need to understand that God is good and He is always on our side, He will never leave us nor forsake us. Jesus said, I am with you always, to the very end of the age. He is with us as we have the Spirit of Christ dwelling in us! Also, God has given His Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Trinity. Jesus said, I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever–the Spirit of truth. John 14:16, 17
When God sent His Son Jesus to the earth, many did not recognize that He is Son of God. Today, when God sent His Holy Spirit, even many Christians did not recognize Him as the Spirit of truth. So, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. Galatians 5:16 When tempted God will show you a way out, He will deliver you and make a way of escape. Be of good cheer! Jesus said to His disciples, “Why are you sleeping?” he asked them. “Get up and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.” Luke 22:46 Always watch & pray so that you will not fall into it.
Temptation comes from enemy to kill, steal and destroy. But, our Lord Jesus always gives life and life abundance. When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; James 1:13 The tempter tempt to destroy our faith, by causing confusion, doubt, unbelief & through the worldly desires. But be careful. Don’t let your heart be deceived so that you turn away from the Lord and serve and worship other gods. Deuteronomy 11:16 Other gods is not necessarily the idol, but its anything that replaces our first love for our one true living God. Let our God be the first priority in life, stand firm in Christ, nothing can harm you.
