We often turn to scholars, the learned, the achievers, and forget that true wisdom comes from the Almighty alone. King Solomon was the wisest man because He sought God to fill Him with wisdom. The high and noble came from around the world to test his wisdom and were astonished. That’s the power of wisdom from above.
The wisdom of the mortals will be buried with them, but the wisdom found in God’s Word is divine and transcendent. As we immerse ourselves in Scripture, we invite the Holy Spirit to enlighten our minds and illuminate the depths of God’s truth. The testimonies contained in the Bible reveal the very heart of God, His character, and His plans for humanity.
