John 1:12 – “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”
Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died as a sacrifice for your sins? If you believe this truth, you are undoubtedly a child of God. You are a son/daughter of the Most High God – the King of kings and Lord of lords, Ruler of the universe. That is not something we can take lightly.
Princes and princesses of this world have a host of privileges just because they are born into royal families. As a child of God, you have been born again into His family and you have divine rights too. It’s just that most of us never understand the full extent of our identity as children of God.
When you receive Jesus, you open the door for His magnificent power to be at work in your life. A child does not hesitate to tap into the reputation or might of his/her father. Then why should we? Believe that you are a child of the Almighty God and act like one. You are an overcomer through Christ who overcame it all for you.
