John 14:21
“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me, will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”
God loves us with an everlasting love. It is this unconditional love that pierced through thousands of generations, reaching down to each one of us. Moreover, the power of God’s love continues to reach anyone who believes that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, to save them from eternal death.
Love is the most binding and powerful thing God could leave with us. In today’s verse, Jesus says that those who love Him will also be loved by His Father in Heaven.
In Galatians 5:22, we see that “Love” is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. It is evident when a person has the love of God within them. And it is this love that inspires us to obey the Lord, to keep His commandments, and to please Him.
Jesus said, “If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love” (John 15:10).
Therefore, let’s remain in Jesus and remain in His love. Let’s keep His commandments and continue to live as those loved by our Almighty God!
