00 Let's do the confessions together. I believe in the Almighty God, our father and creator. I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, God and my savior. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He suffered, died, and rose again. He ascended into heaven. They shall soon come again. I believe in God the Holy Spirit whose worship and my death. I believe in holy fellowship, faithful giving, and service to God in this church. I believe the Holy Bible is the perfect word of God. I am what it says I am. I have what it says I have and I can do what it says I can do today as I learn the word of God here in my spiritual family. I am blessed healed and anointed for a holy and victorious lady. I will never again be the same in Jesus name. Amen. The Lord bless us. Please be seated. >> [clears throat] >> It's nice to be back in the church after being in the palace grounds last week.
06 And what a blessed passion week with fasting, prayer, and all of the goodness of God. It was really beautiful. This month, we've called it the month of power. And last Sunday being Easter Sunday, we looked at the resurrection power of God. And today I want to learn with you from the Bible on the transforming power of God. God's word transforms us. >> But God's word is powerful. >> God's word has power in it. And some of the expressions of God's word is uh in the book of Jeremiah the Bible says for my word is like a hammer that will break the rocks. Another portion the Bible says my word will create my word will create anything. It will create another portion the Bible says I'll send my word and heal. Psalm 107 I'll send my word and heal. >> Hallelujah. >> So God's word has power in it. >> Amen.
07 >> God's word is not only information. God's word is power. >> God's word is not only information. Many people think God's word informs us. Yes, that's true. But God's word is power. >> Amen. Hallelujah. when you when you talk of God's word uh and and the fact that God's word is power we must understand in in today's Christian life um [clears throat] many how do I say okay we we live in technology world mostly everything runs through mobile phones these days banking apps purchase apps uh booking cab apps choosing which house to buy apps [snorts] you know I mean It sounds funny, but whom to marry apps. Isn't it crazy? Finding a doctor app, picking up medicines app, everything runs through um mobile phones. And these apps, apps, apps, apps, apps are all interface. They all are about how you
12 connect with the provider, demand and supply interface. And when you talk of interface uh if there's a beautiful interface but if it's not connected to the server server is not working what's the use of interface many people have great Christianity but no connection with the server their Christianity is great their Christmas tree in the house is better than whatever may have been the original Christmas tree everything looks great but power is not there without the power interface means nothing starts to hang. A powerful back engine is so important for everything that is meaningful to remain meaningful. And many times we believers we have forgotten the power of God and we have relied on our own strength. It's not wrong to rely on your own strength. It is wrong when you rely only
16 on your own strength. You should use your strength. In the name of relying on God, don't waste your strength. Use your strength. Use your plan. But don't rely only on that. Don't limit God to just what you can do. Allow God to do all he can do through your life. [applause] Hallelujah. That's why the Bible says the gospel is the power of God. Let's say that together. >> The gospel is the power of God. >> You just quoted a scripture. What you just said is the scripture. Romans chapter 1 verse 16. Let's read together. For I am not ashamed of the gospel. It is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For I'm not ashamed of the gospel. It's not just information. It's not just some good news. It is information. It is good news. But it's the power of God.
19 >> Amen. >> It is the power of God. It is the power of God. >> It is the power of God. >> We all want to see God's power. You're holding the power of God. >> Hallelujah. >> God's power. >> God's power is in the gospel. For the gospel is the power of God unto salvation, but it's limited by one thing. Read that again, please. 11:16. [clears throat] For I'm not ashamed of the gospel, for it is a power of God to everyone who ah how many of you have seen Caviri River? You've gone to Cavary River. Okay, that's less than 30% of us. Now, Cave River is huge. It's beautiful. Now, if you want to go and uh see from where it begins, you know, it it's lovely. It's beautiful. You get resorts there. Now, you can go live in those places on vacation and it
23 flows down uh beside Mysore, you know, KRS dam all of that and and finally goes to Chennai, right? All the way to the sea. beautiful river is huge especially during rainy season it's very powerful very large you know some some of those places are I think more than a kilometer wide you know it's huge length is in hundreds of kilometers but in your house when caviri comes it comes drip drip drip three times in a something like that because though the Caviri river is very huge, it comes through a 1 in pipe in our house. Caviri river is huge but our pipe is small and the man who operates the connection got a smaller mind. [clears throat]
26 So he will not turn the full knob. He will turn half the knob by the time it reaches our house supplying to 1 million houses. Many people's experience of God's power is like this. God's power is the creative power that created the heavens and the earth. It's vast. It's humongous. It's huge. It's beyond what can be expressed. But we are sitting with that 1 in faith. [clears throat] And the whole thing has to come through that 1 in faith. So it comes drip drip. Sometimes on Sunday high pressure but during the week very low pressure don't blame the source. Re-calibrate. Put a new plumbing line. Change your level of faith. >> For it is the power of God unto salvation to those who believe. Increase your capacity to receive.
28 >> Amen. >> There is no problem with the capacity to deliver. God is able to deliver. >> Amen. >> The challenge [clears throat] is with how much you can receive, how much can you receive? What is the size of your faith? That's why in many times when the Lord was going to heal people, the Lord came to them and and the Lord knows he's blind, but he asked, "What do you want?" Lord, I'm blind. I want to see. Uh-huh. Let it be to you according to your faith. Why always according to your faith? Because unless you change the pipeline, the water cannot flow. Unless you change your faith system, the power cannot flow. >> Many of us have a very good UPI, you know, we have a very good uh uh interface. We have, we are expert, we got very good mannerisms. Our hallelujah, even angels want to hear it. Heavenly choir stops to hear us. But
31 when it comes to faith aspect, we have doubts. Am I worthy of this blessing? Will God really work for me? How many times I heard these messages, one point he forgot to say. We know more than everybody. But when it comes to faith, we don't have that. You know, I have experienced this uh firsthand. I go to villages. I go to villages and preach uh back in those days and I see miracles like people who don't have eyesight, they get [clears throat] healed. People who don't have ability to hear, they get healed. People who had polio by birth, you know, they became lame and could not walk, they get healed. And they run up to the das and they shoutish God healed and God deliver is a big thing, you know. and I come to English service and I pray a migraine hardly gets healed
37 because most people have insurance they have good doctors some problem they know where to go most of them when they come to me for prayer they say pastor pray for me because I'm having this medical procedure pray for success of medical procedure but in the village they don't have doctor they have nobody they have only God. So their faith level is very different. You know sometimes our abilities come in the way between what God can do for us and what we actually allow him to do. It's a good thing to have insurance. It's a good thing to have abilities. That's not wrong. But our faith should never become small just because of our conveniences. Hallelujah. Am I helping anybody here? The ability to depend on God. Some time ago in our home, we were having this chat about, you know, what's the difference between when church was
39 just very small and and now and I was telling my children the dependence on God. How much we dependent on God. You know, we didn't have money to buy chairs. We would just pray, fast and pray. Three days fasting and prayer. Why? We want to buy chair, want to buy a new system. 7 days fasting and prayer. Why? I want to buy a new sound system. No money. Don't know whom to contact. All I know is Auja company. I don't know anyone else. So fast and pray for everything. It was fasting and prayer. Neighbors creating problem because of uh uh noise in the church. Fasting and prayer. God help us with the neighbors. Fasting. Everything used to be prayer, prayer, prayer and prayer and prayer. But today most of the times I don't even know the problem because some volunteers have taken care of it. Accounts has handled it. Everything is taken care and today dependence on God for everything has become less. Now in one way that is a good thing and I'll tell you why. In one way it is so good. So you don't go
42 to God asking Lord give me that, give me this, give me the other thing. God has already given. Now you can go to God saying Lord thank you for giving me that. Thank you for giving me this. Now that's a good thing. But the wait before you clap. Now the problem here is the passion. [clears throat] Okay. The passion. When we don't have something, God give me the passion there is so different from God. Thank you for giving me. Bye. You know when you're saying thanks, we hardly take time. But you when you need something, you're pounding the gates of heaven until you get it. The difference between asking with passion and thanking with no passion is the difference between the power of God that works in our life and which doesn't work in our life. It's the passion that makes the difference. Faith works in the passion in the expression of the passion. Am I helping anybody here? If God has blessed you today that you can be more thankful than asking for things,
44 put the passion into that thankfulness and you will see the power of God working there. [applause] Go ahead. Come on church. Hallelujah. For the power of God is for everyone who believes. Believes not past tense continuous present tense. If you believed in the past, power worked. Then if you don't believe now, it don't work now. It's got to have the passion. The passion. The kind of time you spend in thanking God. The kind of time you spend in worshiping God. Passion. And the word power in that Romans chapter 1:16, the word power there is the actual word dunamis. From the word dunamis comes the word dynamic. dynamo dynamic you know the [clears throat] explosive power explosive power explosions I don't like to talk about explosions because
46 everybody thinks of Iran and Ukraine and [clears throat] uh Afghanistan and it's crazy you know [snorts] the world's [clears throat] most popular terrorists can sometimes hold the world's most popular peace talks >> [clears throat] >> We we we live in a world where maranata come quickly Lord. We we have no clue what's going on. The word for power is dunamis. Explosions. Explosions in a good sense. So God is saying my salvation is not only forgiveness. My salvation is explosive power. >> People misunderstand the power of God as just forgiveness. It's not only forgiveness. It's the power of healing. It's the power of prosperity. It's the power of anointing. It's the power of
48 success. It's the power of transformation in life. It's the power of new habits. It's the power of um long-term relationships. It's the power of walking in joy. It's the power of being a person of gratitude. It's the power that transforms. >> God says, "My power is at work in those who believe." >> Hallelujah. So faith is really the doorway, the pipeline through which the power of God flows into a believer's life. If Jesus was raised by the power of the Holy Spirit and the same power works in us, then what stops Holy Spirit from doing what he did in the life of JESUS OUR LORD. WHY is he not able to do it in our life? Change the plumbing. >> As you believe, so it shall be unto you. >> Every time the Lord Jesus spoke of his death, he also spoke of his resurrection. He said, "Guys, I'm going
50 to die, but I'm coming back. I'm coming back. I'm coming back." Every time he kept saying, "Lord Jesus, is there one human example of someone who died and came back from the time of Adam? Anybody die, they don't come back. Even if God does a miracle and bring them back, after a few more years, they die again and they never come back." Jesus said, "I'll come back. I'll come back. [clears throat] I'll come back. I'll come back. I'll He kept saying I'll come back. Why? He believed. Not only will I die, I'll come back. >> And that happened in the life of the Lord. According to what you believe. That's why the Bible says you become a new creation through this power. 2 Corinthians chapter 5, let's read verse 17. several. >> Mhm. >> Behold, >> has come. >> The new has come. >> It's delivered. You are a new creation.
54 >> Now, why people are not able to believe they are new creation? Because they look the same in the mirror. That is the problem. [clears throat] Because they look the same in the mirror, they are not able to believe they are changed. That's why you should keep looking into the word of God. This is your identity card. This is your mirror. >> You are a new creation. You are not the old. Physical genetics is the same, but the spiritual genetics has changed. Amen. [applause] Hallelujah. The bottle is the same, but the substance inside has changed. >> The clothing is the same, but the person has changed. transformation has happened. Behold, everything has become new. This is not a moral upgrade. This is not a new download or a new version of the same old uh uh interface. This is a new thing altogether. New identity, new desires and a new
58 direction in life. >> Amen. >> God has made everything new. Everything new. Christian life is not about trying harder. It's about living out what God has already made in your life. Living it out in joy, living it out in happiness. That's a true Christian life. And God is calling you to live with the power of the Holy Spirit. >> This is where religion is different from the gospel. Religion focuses on external compliance. wear that pray so many times read the scripture so many times uh fast so many days uh give so much money religion religion [clears throat] it's it's it's traditions but the gospel is you're a new creation [clears throat] don't practice the memories of the old life practice the demands of the new life you're a new creation it's not about how many times you pray it's about the faith involved in the prayer it's about not about how many times you read
00 the Bible. It's about what did you understand as you read. How do you believe what you read? Hallelujah. [clears throat] Amen. It's not about how many days you fasted. In the fasting, where you able to connect with God Almighty? >> It's it's about practicing the new creation. In in religion, the method is your willpower and the feeling of guilt. The method is how much strong are you inside? How strong is your willpower and how much guilty do you feel? That's what religion is built on. But gospel is built on the Holy Spirit that works inside you. Amen. >> Religion, I'll tell you one good example. One fellow was fully drunk. Fully drunk and he fell on the road because no balance. Somebody was coming back from the shop and they thought they will give him something. [clears throat] They had gone shopping. They were walking back in the
03 village. They thought they'll give him something because he was lying on the road and they gave him curd in that shopping bag. Only kurd was there. They gave some type of kurd. They felt sorry. And the fellow says, "Don't give me kurd. These are the lent days of fasting. [clears throat] I don't take curd now fully drunk lying on the road but will not take curd because according to his particular lent days you know 40 days before the crucif crucifixion of the lord 40 days kurd I cannot take because of that particular sect. If there is any sect that don't take cur change my story okay I'm assuming everyone takes cur people religion is like that it is there is nothing to do with God it's all about man-made rules but the gospel is the power of God that changes your desires [applause]
08 it transforms you from inside oh go ahead give God a big round of applause >> [applause] >> Hallelujah. Now many times we struggle God why are my desires not changing? Why are my desires uh you know if see what happens is your desires are changing but it also matters when you keep feeding yourself wrong things you know don't feed yourself wrong things now that you are a new creation in Christ feed yourself the right things and and that is where the new creation life begins to grow in religion what finally happens is the result is burnout and a lot of hypocrisy you know too much of burnout out. People get angry. They are righteous intimidation. There is a lot of irritations. When you're religious, you feel angry with everyone else. There's that's a religious sign. But those who are changed by the power of the gospel,
11 there is a authentic love and compassion that operates through them. There is a genuiness that works because when the heart changes, life changes. This is the power of the grace of God. >> Look at Titus chapter 2. Let's read verse 11 and 12. For the grace of God has appeared, bringing >> Uh-huh. >> training us worldly passions and to live self-control, upright and godly lives in the present age. See, many times people misunderstand grace as tolerance, leniency. God is overlooking sin. But true grace is not only leniency, not only God overlooking sin, it is also active and instructive. True grace trains us. It not only teaches us, trains us. What's the difference between teaching and training? Teaching is a classroom experience. You're going through teaching experience right now. What is training? Workshop experience.
14 Do you remember 8th standard, n standard, 10th standard practicals? Whether you take uh carpentry or you take arts or you take physics or you there's something called workshop experience practicals you know sodium plus chlorine is salt sodium plus chloride is salt and and na plus minus everything you study but when you try it in the lab nothing works. We we mug up all the equations, all the chemical equations. But when we go do it in the [clears throat] lab, nothing works. I remember once we were doing the tuning fork thing, no that at certain resonance that paper will jump off the string physics. Trying it's not working only mine. I don't know why it was not working. I tried. I thought something wrong with tuning for folk. I gave it to my friend he it worked.
18 But my string, my thing is not jumping. The tuning fork at that correct distance, the resonance will make that uh paper jump from the string. At one point I prayed in Jesus name. Whatever is holding this stupid thing in Jesus name. I didn't know my lecturer was watching and sir says to me Johnson, your words will do nothing, man. Work with the tuning folk. I said, "Thank God he jumped after that." Anyway, workshop experience is so different from classroom experience. Classroom experience you can mug up everything. But in the workshop sometimes nothing works. That's why the Bible is saying grace will train you. Not only teach you, it will >> train you. training experience. It's so different. He will train us what all he'll train us to renounce ungodliness.
22 He'll train us to give up ungod. There are many ungodly things. God will help us to give it out. >> Don't want. He will help us. This is what happens when the power of God comes on us. >> Amen. MANY OF US WANT GOD'S POWER THAT WHEN WE PRAY THEY WILL FALL DOWN AND ROLL. I was so excited about those things. I'm happy even today people sometimes while praying fall down all that is okay fine however God works but what I realize is many fellows when they get up no change in life then what is the use of falling under the power of God when you fall under the power of God get up as a new creation. Amen. [applause] I I enjoy Pentecostal ministry. It's powerful. You know, people fall down, start laughing in the spirit, start screaming, shouting. Praise God for casting out demons. I believe any expression of the Holy Spirit is a good
24 thing. Okay? There's nothing wrong. Some go into contemplation, meditation. As long as they're awake and they're meditating on God, it's all right. Okay, fine. It's it's, you know, different people react differently to the Holy Spirit. That's all right. But the problem is when there is no change in life, all of these things should produce righteousness in us. >> We must walk away from ungodliness. Many English church pastors in India when we used to discuss together, we used to say in vernacular languages, you know, Tamil, Malalam, Canada, Telugu, Orura, you can talk about holiness, people will be happy. But in English congregation, you talk about holiness, people get angry. They don't come back to church. But in my life, I found actually people love holiness. When I preach about holiness, people clap more more than when I preach about grace. People love holiness because people want to be holy. People want to be pure. People want to walk in a touch with God. They want to be victorious in life.
29 People are fed up with sin. Amen. Amen. >> The whole the whole problem is when we depend on ourselves for holiness. Yes, your willpower you should use. No doubt. But depend on the Holy Spirit and say God I and one more thing holiness is not about not doing sins. See not doing sins is a PART OF HOLINESS. BUT THE GREATER part of holiness is doing righteousness. Doing your responsibility. Doing what God has called you to do. Obeying the WORD OF GOD. THAT is a greater righteousness. >> [applause] >> Amen. DON'T FOCUS TOO MUCH ON what I should not do. Focus more on what I should do for God. >> These are very important things. Renounce ungodliness and worldly passions and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in present age. In present age means don't say I live holy for God when circumstance is right. No, whatever circumstance you are in in
33 the present age, >> you will live a victorious life. >> Hallelujah. But pastor, if I live a holy life, my college all will laugh at me. You live a holy life and come with 98%. In your exams, [clears throat] huh? Come with 95%. Come with distinction. Nobody will laugh at you. When you are a failure and you try to be holy, only problem starts. Are you all listening to what I'm saying? [laughter] Do be a successful person and be a holy person. Nobody will laugh at you. People will salute you. >> Amen. >> You won't smoke. You won't drink. You won't look at girls or if you're a girl, you won't look at boys. You you don't write love letters. You don't give anybody your WhatsApp number. You are always praying in the free period. You're reading the Bible and all are saying why you are so religious and then when marks come you are at the bottom who will respect you. You should be successful because you're living for the glory of God Almighty.
38 Amen. You should be a topper and that's why he has given you the power. >> Amen. You can be victorious in the name of Jesus. >> Hallelujah. >> Praise God. God's grace is not passive forgiveness. It's the power that enables you for a holy and successful living. As important as holiness is, success is a part of holiness. Our God is a holy God. But why do we worship him? Because he's almighty. He's not a failure. He's a winner. He's a victorious God. If he says something, he will do it. >> Amen. That's the spirit of God working in your life. You will be a winner in the name of Jesus. >> Hallelujah. You will be on the top. Yes. Yes. Nothing is impossible with our God. >> Amen. >> Let's go to Galatians chapter 2. I want to close with this. Galatians chapter 2.
43 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me and the life I now live in the flesh. I live by faith in the son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. Paul is saying every day I'm dying to the flesh. The power of God working in me helps me to kill that which is destructive. Helps me to kill that which is against the will of God. That old tries to come back and the Holy Spirit helps me to put it to death. And the new life, I'm living it through Christ who works in me. Christ is at work in my life. Even when I'm sleeping, he's at work. >> Hallelujah. Today we were singing that song. No. Even when I don't know, my God is working in my life. >> Hallelujah. What remains is a new kind of existence where Christ is expressing his life through the believer. Christian
49 life is not about just living for Christ. It's about Christ living in us. It's not only about we living for Christ. It's about Christ living through us. Faith is the means by which this reality is experienced. In other words, transformation is not mechanical. Transformation is relational. If you and I want to walk in the transforming grace of God, it depends on how we relate with Christ, it is a relational transformation grace. It is not mechanical that happens only through rules. Now mechanicals is good. It's not bad. But that doesn't bring perfection. It can help you to start. It is required. Disciplines are good thing. But the depth of the relationship matters so that transformation can be more powerful and can be more result oriented. You know when I talk about these things uh the guy [clears throat] Joseph comes to my mind. You know I call him brother
52 Joe. He was born in the most precarious unfortunate situation. His father was in love with one lady and married another lady. happens even today loving one lady marrying another lady but for this fellow it happened through trick it was father-in-law tricked him and got him to marry the elder one first promising that you know buy one other one is free then I said buy one because he had to pay a price you know in some cultures girls have to pay dowi to the boy you know but in that culture boy has to pay dari to the girl. Ladies lost your chance to say amen. Now forget it you know but anyway so this fellow he got married to two ladies starting itself starting trouble started on a wrong note then what happens is uh the girl he loves is beautiful he married her though she is
56 second marriage uh he loves her but she can't have children and the lady that he doesn't like which came through force pressure deception now that is the first wife but that is like producing so many babies. So productive one he don't like what he like unproductive one happens in our life correct many times what we like is useless nothing is working there you know you like that business you love it but it's not giving you anything but what you don't like through that uncle only you are paying your fees you know [laughter] through that auntie support only you are able to survive you don't like that auntie but you know in life things are so unpredictable you hate that boss but it's through him you get promotion you love that colleague but that's the fellow who betrays you all the time. This is life standard operating procedure. Genesis chapter 26 onwards you will find it. [applause] My god it's crazy this fellow actually if you want to learn life don't
00 read Amaritra Kata Pinkle Tintin Archies read the Bible original stories will come out. >> [applause] >> One day this beautiful lady but unproductive in church also there are people that looks good but most useless won't win souls won't pray will never give to God will not participate in any volunteer activity but will always be there. Hallelujah. How are you pastor? It looks like they're doing everything but do nothing. Some of you are looking at me. You're talking about me. You got it. Yes. You're the good-looking one. Learn to be productive in Jesus name. [applause] It's not enough to be good-looking. We thank God for you. You're good-looking. But become productive. Now, if you felt it's about you, then it is about you. But only thing I don't know who you are. Okay? [laughter] I don't [snorts] know who you are. But be productive. This church runs because of productive
04 people. Many people ask me how do you pull such a big crowd you know fill up the largest places in the city and there is not one wrong thing everything goes so smooth that is because of productive people in the church >> you know they take care of I don't know what 100 things that have to be done they take care of everything you know thank God for productive people in the church amen [clears throat] so one day this unproductive but good-looking and says to Joseph, says to Jacob, her husband, give me a child or I want to die. She becomes suicidal. You know, sometimes to be productive, you've got to be ready to die to something. Don't go hang yourself, okay? Be ready to put to death your unproductive life. >> Amen. And she goes to God and Jo Jacob goes to God and God healed her womb. And guess what? Joseph was born. When Joseph was
10 born, he's already surrounded by a group of children. All his stepb brotherther, step sister who don't like him. Why? Because family problem. Loved wife, unloved wife. Unloved wife got too many children. They hate the loved one. Now having one when Joseph was born itself, he's surrounded by people who wished he never was born. But who are they? Own brothers and sisters who are looking at him saying hi. But in their heart they are thinking die you die fellow die. [laughter] Many of us know that right? Hey so nice to see you grown up huh? But you know in your heart they are wishing you were buried long ago. But you know what? That's the time where God gives you vision. That's the place where God gives you vision. [applause] Hallelujah. Oh come on. It is the POWER OF GOD. That's the place where the power OF GOD
14 BEGINS TO WORK IN YOUR LIFE. >> AMEN. God gave him a vision. Why? There's no way you can have a vision when you're surrounded by so much of depravity, enemity, people hate you. Since all were complaining about him, he also started complaining about others. He just became like the others. And so they hated him more. Many of you think that if you start hitting back the way they hit at you, they will learn their lesson. Nothing. They'll become worse. They became worse. They caught him at an appropriate time and threw him in a pit and left him there to die. Then they found the brothers, they found a slave trader passing that way. So they thought, why kill him and lose everything? Sell him and get some money. So they pulled him out. And he must have felt so nice. Finally, they're pulling me out. Hallelujah. Waitlelujah.
16 [laughter] before your hallelujah they sold him to a slave now that's miserable dying is in one way better than being a slave but don't stop your hallelujah why because God still has a plan for your life the vision God gave you he will fulfill [applause] amenure for sorry for taking names any particular uh company they [clears throat] sell you anything they'll put one aster tricks conditions apply. Amen. Even your favorite uh iPhone or Samsung or whatever company asterisks are there. Conditions apply because nothing is foolproof. Everything is subject to conditions. But when God gives you a vision, conditions don't apply. Whatever condition, God will make his promise come true. He will [applause] do it. Hallelujah. He is sold as a slave. As a slave, he's
19 faithful to God. But there people turn against him. Particularly where he was faithful, that lady turned against him. You know, when you're faithful to the hilt, you're faithful to the max and then unfaithful people are the ones who received your faithfulness and they take all of your faithfulness and throw it in a garbage bin. You feel violated. You feel terrible because what's the use of being faithful now the fellow is in prison there he was faithful see the point is this he knew one thing I'm not living for the people around me I'm living for a god who called me he has a purpose in my life >> so even if nobody rewards me I'll be faithful to God why this power was working in him why faith was working in him amen man in the prison. He was faithful. He was faithful to look after the prison. He was faithful to interpret dreams for the prisoners. And there God worked his miracles. And now he becomes
24 the prime minister of Egypt. He became the prime minister of Egypt. And there he is faithful. Why? Because the power of God is working in him. Hallelujah. You see, when God's power is at work in your life, no matter where they put you, your quality doesn't change, your character doesn't change, your wisdom helps you to strategize and you're able to perform without any problem. Hallelujah. The Bible goes on to say, "Now the biggest challenge is when he had to meet his brothers. The fellows who put him in the pit, the fellows who pulled him out and sold him as a slave, they are standing in front of him. That is when the real test comes. That pain, that sadness, that anger. But he tells them what God turned for good is what actually you had meant for bad. God has done something good based out of what you turned for
30 bad. God turned it for good. What a statement. Don't worry, brothers. I'll take care of you. I won't throw you in a pit. I will not sell you to the slaves. I'll not kill you. I'll not take revenge. Whatever you did for bad, there is a God who turned it for good. So, be comfortable. Hallelujah. That's the power of transformation. Close your eyes and say, "Father, I thank you that you will build me pure. I thank you that you'll build integrity in me. I thank you that you will give me deliverance and freedom from the spirit of bitterness, from the spirit of past. Thank you that you will cleanse me from the pain of jealousy, from the struggles of comparing myself with others, from bitterness that keeps coming to my mind of how I was abused, illreated, being treated unfairly, or had to go through injustice. But today, Lord, I thank you
33 for your word. I thank you that a slave can become a ruler because of your power that works in us. Your gospel is the power. I receive that power in Jesus' name.
