Luke 4:39: And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her; and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.
Jesus ministered unto Peter’s mother-in-law when she was down with a great fever. As soon as Jesus rebuked the fever, she felt good and ministered unto them. Sickness obeyed Jesus instantly.
It is not only over sickness that Jesus has authority and power, but He also has power over every visible and invisible things. He wants to reign over our lives if we allow Him to. Whatever He rebukes will never ever make an entry again. Whatever He blesses, will remain blessed. Maybe you are down too with spiritual sickness and other physical challenges. Perhaps your situation is so grave that you have tried all means to come out. Your situation is so great that only God can help. Do not worry. The same Jesus who did a miracle for Peter’s mother-in-law will do one for you too. She got up and started ministering to the people. When you are delivered, you too will be back on your feet and do those things that you once were unable to do.
Let God take care of your needs. Give Him a chance to minister to you. You will never be the same again. Walk in the strength of God.
