The expected end

Jeremiah 29:11:  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

God has planned peaceful thoughts for us, and He is waiting to give us an expected end.  We may have lost all hopes of having a bright future or the expected end, but God is thinking of thoughts of peace and of evil.  He does not want to think that we are doomed or destroyed.

God is capable of building our broken lives.  He restores what we have lost.  If He thinks of doing any good thing to us or turning around our situation for good, who can stop Him?  If God decides to open a way, who will dare close it? Never lose your trust in God.    He will do what He has promised.  Sometimes, it may take years for God’s word to be fulfilled.  Sometimes, it may happen when we do not expect it.  Either ways, we have to keep trusting His ability to do what He has promised and also trust His character for He will keep every word that He has spoken.

Are you waiting for your expected end? Look unto Him.  Let your gaze be steadily fixed on Him.  Obey Him and do everything that is required to please Him.  When you ask Him something, let it be asked in unwavering faith.  He does not say one thing today and another thing tomorrow.  He is not confused either. God remains the same yesterday, today, and forever.  He does not change.  May He grant you an expected end.
