Praise than Complain

1 Corinthians 10:10—”And don’t grumble as some of them did, and then were destroyed by the angel of death.”

We can use our God-given mouth either to complain or to praise. It is a choice that we make.
Complaining is pretty contagious and can destroy the beginning of our beautiful day. If we return to work after a vacation, we normally have a tendency to complain when our mind has yet to accept our return back to work. In the same way based on whatever be our current situation: trouble with spouse or children, over bossy boss, mean colleagues, selfish neighbours etc., complaining is an effortless state to be in. We can do this very naturally.
However, the Scripture tells us ‘don’t grumble as some of them did’. We are not meant to behave like ‘some of them’ or even all of them, if it means going away from what Scripture says. We have a choice to think differently. We have a choice to think like others or to honor God through our situation. We have a choice to think positive and good thoughts.

Scripture has all this information as a guide for us (Verse 11 – Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.)
We must ensure to follow the scripture than to fall in the eyes of God. (Verse 12 – Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.)

(Verse 13 – No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.)
God loves us and for every trial has provided a way to deal with it so that we can praise Him than complain!
