Ephesians 3:14-15: For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named.
Paul was a man of prayer and supplications before God. He never failed to pray or make known his requests before God. He prayed and worshipped God in any and all kind of circumstances. He writes this epistle to the Christians at Ephesus. He was chosen by God to take the gospel to the gentiles. He won many hearts for God.
Paul was very sure as the back of his hand that he was called to preach the good news among the unreached portions of the world. God wanted him to tell others about His love. He faced many trials and tribulations in so doing, yet he never gave up. He encouraged the believers at Ephesus to not to lose heart at his troubles. He wrote to them that he was praying for them on his knees. Paul wanted them to remain united and be strengthened in their spirits by God. He encouraged them that God’s love was stronger than anything and that God was able to do everything for them.
When troubles surround us, we should do just one thing like Paul. PRAY! Pray in all circumstances. Though he was the most educated preacher of his time, he depended on God for strength and knowledge to bear the good news. He was least disturbed by all the perilous circumstances. He was confident that God was listening to Him when he was on his knees.
