Psalm 29:10 The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD is enthroned as King forever.
Are we drowning under a flood of problems? Do we feel like we’re being washed away by waves of torment that just won’t relent?
“Though they plot evil against you and devise wicked schemes, they cannot succeed.” – Psalm 21:11
The Lord Jesus will carry us over the storms of life and ensure our safety. No watery scheme of the devil will withstand the onslaught on our God!
He sits enthroned above every flood, waiting for us to call on His name. He is eager to save us because the battles we face do not belong to us! They belong to the Lord.
When we call on His name, He will be glad to fight our battles for us.
“Thus says the Lord to you: Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” – 2 Chronicles 20:15
When the Lord fights our battles for us, victory will certainly be ours. He is the God who defeated satan on his home turf. Yes, when all of hell was indulging in mirth, after the death of the Lord Jesus, He paid a surprise visit to hell and utterly defeated the enemy!
He is the same God who is waiting to give us victory over our problems. We just have to give our battles into His hands in sincere prayer.
“For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.” – Deuteronomy 20:4
