Psalm 150:2
Praise Him for His mighty deeds; praise Him according to His excellent greatness!
This psalm gives us a beautiful tutorial on praising the Lord. Have you ever wondered how or who or where or why should you praise the Lord? Where: It begins by praising Him in His sanctuary and in His heavens. We are the temple of the Living God and His Holy Spirit dwells in us!
Why: It then tells us to praise Him for His acts of power, His miracles and for His magnificent greatness. He is the Faithful One and has made known His faithfulness in our lives. He is the One who gives us breath every morning!
How: We are then encouraged to praise Him with all kinds of beautiful instruments. Praise Him with the trumpets, the lute, the harp, the tambourine, the wind instruments, flutes, LOUD cymbals. In fact, it even says praise Him with dancing. Just find an instrument or become an instrument of praise unto Him.
Who: Let EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH, everyone, everywhere, every living creature, PRAISE THE LORD!!!
