Isaiah 65:24 It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear.
Does it feel like God’s promise for your life has been delayed? Or worse still, do you feel like God has forgotten about His promise?
After 25 years of waiting on God’s promise, Abraham and Sarah had a child in Isaac. Those 25 years must have tested their faith beyond our understanding. Imagine waiting over two decades for God to fulfill a promise that was biologically becoming more impossible with every passing day.
To make matters more undesirable God had changed his name to Abraham, which means father of nations. And here, he had been waiting for decades to father one child.
The day Isaac was born must have been the happiest day of Abraham’s life!
A while later, God tested Abharam by telling him to sacrifice his son. Abraham was a man of great faith, but it must have pushed his faith to the limit when he drew the knife to sacrifice his only son. At that very moment, an angel of the Lord stepped in and stopped him.
Millennia later, God sent His only Son to the Earth to redeem mankind. This time, God did not stop the axe from falling. The perfect Son of God was sacrificed to save an imperfect world from eternal death.
God gave Abraham his son at the right time. God sent His only Son, the Lord Jesus, to save us at the right time. And God will bring His promise to pass in your life at the right time!
Trust Him and His promises. It is impossible for Him to fail!
