Strength for Today

Isaiah 33:2 NIV

“Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress.”

Today’s verse can very well be our prayer for today. It is the Lord’s grace that keeps us going from day to day. We need Him every second of our lives, but we don’t often realize it. We tend to take God’s presence in our lives for granted. When we consciously seek God each morning, asking Him to be our strength and salvation, we acknowledge our dependence on Him.

What do you need strength for today? Perhaps you need emotional strength to deal with a difficult relationship, or energy to get through a stressful day. Do you need wisdom to excel at work, or mental clarity to battle the lies that plague your mind? Be honest with God and ask Him for what you need. He will give you the wisdom, grace, and strength you need today.

When you commit your day to the Lord and remain dependent on Him, He is with you through the ups and downs that come your way. Even if you suddenly face a distressing situation, God is not caught off guard. He will rescue you and deliver you. He will give you the strength you need to keep going. Rest in the assurance of His goodness and grace today.

    Praise the Lord Pastor
thank you that two clear cut promises for me through this today’s devotion
1.”He will give the wisdom, grace, strength we (i) need for today”,.
2.”He will rescue you and deliver you(me)”,.

Certainly, His grace is enough for us. Lord is our strength when we are weak. ‘WE LONG FOR YOU’,
because He is our strength, especially Jesus is our salvation during difficult time every morning and even in evening.
