Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
Our heavenly Father desires to bless us. He wants us to be content in everything and be joyful at all times. As the Bible states, our God is a good God who desires to bless His children with good gifts for our prosperity. God’s love manifests in several ways in our lives, one of which is inheriting blessings. While blessings alone don’t define His love for us, they are vital for our physical and spiritual well-being.
God is the source of all gifts, whether we appreciate them or not. We may not be able to comprehend what is happening on this side of heaven, but we trust God who sees the big picture. He will shine His light on every area of our lives. After all, God is the Father of all lights. Salvation through Jesus Christ was His perfect gift for the redemption and prosperity of our souls. So, it is important to recognize that no matter how alluring all blessings may be, they cannot compare to the worth of Christ in our lives.
Dear God, thank You for Your heart that desires to bless Your children with good gifts. Thank You because, in You, there is no variation or darkness. Lord, help us to renew our minds as we draw closer to the best days of our lives. May we rely on You for all our provisions and lift Your Name on high, always. In Jesus Name, Amen.
