Reviving dead situations

Matthew 9:18:  While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler,  and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead; but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.

This certain ruler here is Jairus.  He had an unshakable faith in Jesus that he believed that even though his daughter was dead, she will live.  We do not know under what circumstances his daughter died, but he had one thing in him and that is faith.  His faith paid off well for him, and his daughter came back to life.

Dead things and situations in life will be revived if we tell Jesus that we believe in Him and confess to Him that your dead situations will come back to life.  Notice here that Jairus told Jesus that his daughter is dead but that he wanted Jesus to go and lay his hand upon her so that she will live.  We may be going through a dead situation and Jesus knows it well too. He wants us to confess it to Him.  When we confess our faith to Him, He will move for us.  The very next verse says that he followed the ruler.  He was going to work a miracle for him.  It was that simple.  Faith can move Jesus for us. Faith can work miracles for us.  He said to Jesus very clearly that his daughter is dead.  We can also tell Jesus that we tried our best to revive our situation but that we are helpless now and that we believe in Him for a miracle.

Commit your dead situation into God’s hand.  Tell Him that you believe that He can work for you.  Tell Him that you believe Him with all your heart.
