Angelic protection

Psalm 34:7:  The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.  (KJV)

God has ten thousands of angels at His service in heaven.  Some of His angels are the messenger angels, some are the warrior angels, and some are the worship angels.  Scriptures point out in Hebrews that angels are our ministering spirits.  There are many instances in the Bible where angels protected God’s children and kept them safe.

What is it like to have an angel or angels camp around our house every day?  There will not be any evil force for kilometers and kiometers from our dwelling.  Just as how a king’s army draw out their sword and protect their king when he is in danger, the same way God’s angels protect everyone who fear Him.  They will deliver us and will ensure that we are safe.  Encamp means to lodge or cause to lodge in a camp.  The angel of the Lord will encamp around those people who fear God.  He would literally be around everyone who worships and honour God.  No powers of evil will ever harm us.  God’s angels will not only encamp around God’s people who fear Him but will also deliver them.

Angels are heavenly beings commissioned by God to minister to us.  When we walk a life that is worthy of the calling of God, they will minister to us.  When we get to heaven, we will get to see God’s heavenly beings.  Oh what joy will that day be when we see Jesus face to face and are ushered to heaven!
