Matthew 7:8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
Lord Jesus has given us a wonderful promise in this verse. Everyone who asks God receives an answer. Everyone who seeks Him finds Him. The door is opened to everyone who knocks. It does not depend on how holy you are or how perfect you are. It depends on how willing you are to ask in faith, believing that there is nothing impossible with Him. Do you believe that there is nothing too hard for the Lord?
What is troubling you today? Is it your health, career, family or sinful desires? Whatever be the situation that you are going through today, don’t give up. Don’t lose hope. Remember the many times that God has answered you, rescued you, healed you, delivered you, protected you, gave you everything you needed?
He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is faithful to all His promises. Ask Him, He will surely answer you. Seek Him, He will come close to you. We can trust God’s goodness because He has already made us His children.
Ask, seek, knock. Be persistent in prayer. Focus on God’s will in your lives. Have faith in God that He is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to His power that works in us(Ephesians 3:21).
