Be the visionary you can be under the gift of the Lord Almighty

Joel 2:28 – And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions

How does a mad man or a man who has lost all his sense come across to us? Mad! Right. We do not say that he is a gentleman. Why? Because we live in a society where we have defined everything to the way a particular society functions. We have certain ways and habits and lifestyles that we adorn with careful precise understanding.

But the Lord looks at the heart. If we look at the Bible we see Saul who turned Paul. Was he initially mad/cruel? We look at Jeremiah the weeping and sorrowful prophet. We can also look at David who later became so hysterical running from King Saul. We see Moses and his life. In some form or the other they all lived life in a way that this society today cannot categorise it as sanely decent.

If they would had been living today we would had definitely judged them. Well, that is something we still do today. Zacchaeus climbed a tree to see Jesus. The woman who was bleeding profusely for so many years wanted to just touch the hem of his garment.

There is nothing normal about the Bible and the many saints, prophets, disciples who lived then. Everyone was abnormal in some way or the other. If we can use the word ‘Abnormal’!

Jesus Christ is looking for a heart. Not a lifestyle. Not a saint. Not a sinner. Just a heart!
