Psalm 37:16-17:  A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.  For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous.  (KJV).

Wealth and riches are good to some extent, everybody wants to have a little more than what they already have.  It should not be forgotten that the very things we desire will soon perish.  Nothing lasts forever.  We have to learn to be content with what we have.

The word of God says that the steps of a good man or a righteous man are ordered by the Lord and that He delights in his ways.  When we have God on our side, our every move will be directed and ordered by God.  Do not worry if your financial status does not match like your neighbour’s or like some multimillionaire’s.  God knows how much you need for your day to day life.  God knows that it is better to live our everyday life on the resources that we have.  God feels that the little that a righteous person has is far better than the riches of the wicked. The arms of the wicked shall be broken, which means their efforts to do something will not flourish.  Their efforts or attempts to cause hurt or pain or wickedness will not come to pass.  Their plans will become futile because God will destroy their thoughts.  He will sustain and uphold those who are righteous or those who love Him.  He will allow them to prosper.

Be content with the blessings that God has blessed you with.  Make sincere efforts to do what God loves the most.  Do not fall into temptations or traps set by the devil.  Money cannot save us, only God can.
