Build Thankfulness

The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain… in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. Deuteronomy 28:12

The pattern in the world is such that when we see others prospering like buying a new home or car, dressing well and having much more buying power than us, we start to compare our life and achievements with theirs. And such comparisons mostly lead us to depression, anxiety, jealousy and stress.

Our society is full of superficiality. It is all that we see that we believe. But the GOD of the Bible is a God who searches deep within. Our external appearances or buying power does not lure God. He is attracted to our inner being; He searches for the spirit and truth in our souls.

Our God is perfect with His timing. In due season, He shall bless us with the choicest blessings we pray for, according to His will. Let us wait in joy, peace and faith for God to shower His blessings in His time. Let us rejoice in what we have rather than grumble about the things that we do not have. Making the best out of what we have will give us the best that the future holds for us.

Let this verse from the Bible, which is a blessing to all the people of God, be a reminder to us: to be happy in the little, so GOD makes us faithful over much. He will never let us lack. According to the riches in glory of our GOD, our needs are fulfilled.
