Romans 8:11
“If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”
When the Lord Jesus Christ lived amid us, He attracted people from far and wide due to His supreme intellect, perfect nature, and exemplary lifestyle. People were in awe of His personality and mesmerized by His presence. They knew, right away, that He was no ordinary man but of divine nature. He was the greatest teacher they had ever seen. He taught them both in words and through the life He led. And He continues to teach us today through His Holy Spirit.
He has blessed us with His Holy Spirit, who acts as a guide, comforter, helper, and companion. The Holy Spirit is powerful, pure, and perfect and can perform miracles and wonders. He is on our side no matter what; He possesses incredible power to do the impossible. The Holy Spirit strengthens and nurtures us, shows us which way to go, and teaches us right from wrong. He gives us wisdom and the gift of discernment.
If we can hear His sweet still voice and obey Him in all things, then we can do the unthinkable. Since He dwells in us, His power reigns in us, and we have authority over all things.
What are you struggling with? Remember, the Almighty and Powerful Holy Spirit is in you. When He is your guide and companion, circumstances change, breakthroughs happen, sicknesses get healed, and bondages break. Receive Him and see your life transform.
Prayer: Dear God, thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit. He is my very present help in my time of need. I would not have made it this far without Him. I love Him and render Him more precious than anything in this world. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
