Isaiah 54:17
No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.
In days of old, the weapons were made of metals and probably wood to hurt and destroy. Today, weapons may not so tangible…like bitter and slanderous words, gossip, slander, backstabbing, accusations, judgements, deceit, cheating, disgrace, and many many more…all related to the mightiest of all weapons, the tongue.
But your Lord has tackled that too. EVERY tongue that rises against you, YOU will be able to rebuke, denounce and reject thus proving it false through the WORD of the Lord and through truth. Not through vengeance for this belongs to the Lord, but by speaking and declaring the Word of the Lord that HE speaks over you and not accepting the words that your adversary does.
THIS is your birthright! Peace, security, victory is all yours through this one promise! They may call you a sinner but the Lord has declared your righteousness is from HIM through Jesus! What an awesome Father we have!!! What a beautiful truth to partake of!
Dear Lord, thank you for my inheritance of immunity from EVERY weapon that is formed against me. I will choose to believe who you say I am and renounce every word that has risen against me until now. I thank you for my righteousness through the Cross of Calvary. In Jesus’ Name!
