Galatians 6:9 – “Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not give up”
A couple found an orphan lying down in dirty clothes, begging at a platform in a city’s railway station. Being childless they were filled with love and compassion for that little one and lifted him up to see a set of innocent eyes staring back at them. Today was the day that he was going to be taken to a real home where he would be given all the love and care that he was unacquainted with and did not know about its existence.
He received a good education and most importantly he was taught biblical principles and the way of life according to the word. He grew up to be a fine gentleman with a great value system. He devoted his life to Christ and through him many came to the Lord.
The good work of the couple : giving home to a homeless and Christ to the Christless. They became a part of God’s plan of bringing many souls to the Kingdom through that child.
We may not know what would be the end result of our good deeds. But we need to be rest assured that nothing goes out of notice from our God.We shall reap harvest in due time.
Whenever an opportunity presents itself where we could be of help to anyone, we should never back down. We never know how our contribution to someone’s life sets great things into motion.
Afterall God uses His own children to bring revival in life’s of multitudes.
So, let us never shy away from being an instrument for the kingdom of God.
