Job 36:15 NIV
“Those who suffer He delivers in their suffering; He speaks to them in their affliction.”
Suffering is an inevitable part of life, but as believers, we have the assurance that God is with us even in our darkest moments. Job 36:15 reminds us that God does not abandon us in our suffering. Instead, He delivers us and speaks to us through our afflictions.
When we are in pain or distress, it can be difficult to feel God’s presence. However, it is often in these moments that God is most active in our lives. He uses our struggles to draw us closer to Him, to refine our faith, and to reveal His grace and mercy in ways we might not otherwise experience.
In our suffering, God speaks to us. He offers comfort, wisdom, and hope. He may not always remove the pain immediately, but He promises to be with us, guiding us through the storm. This assurance allows us to trust that our suffering has a purpose and God is working for our good, even when we cannot see it.
Let us hold on to this promise and seek God’s voice in our afflictions. He is our Deliverer and Comforter, and He will never leave us or forsake us.
