Forgiveness coupled with Grace

Ephesians 1:7 NKJV

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace”

God`s forgiveness and redemption comes with a promise. When we are made whole by Christ through His precious blood, we receive a portion of His grace. God bought us the freedom we now enjoy. However, ironically the freedom in itself did not come free. Jesus paid a price for it at the cross. He bought us this freedom by giving up His life. In this process, He gave us grace. The grace to be called righteous in the eyes of the Lord. The grace to start a new life without sin. The grace to be called the children of God.

God`s promise of grace is for the entire human race and not restricted only to a certain section of people. He has called us to inherit His riches. In fact, He takes pleasure in blessing us with the choicest of gifts and favors. If only we allow Jesus to be our savior, He will not just pardon our sins, but will lavishly pour out His amazing grace upon us.

What a privilege it is to have Jesus as our savior.

It is so beautiful to know that God considers each one of us worthy of His blood and salvation. No matter who we may have been in the past, we have now been completely renewed in Christ. Our old sins have been long forgiven and now we are one with our Father in heaven. This divine act of God is truly forgiveness coupled with grace.
