Fullness of Days

Exodus 23:25 – And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

God tells Israel that if they would just serve the Lord their God, He would not only bless their food and water, He would take sickness away from their midst.  God had already introduced Himself to them as Yahweh Rophe, The Lord that heals in Exodus 15:26.  We see again, it is God’s nature to heal.

Consider God’s character as revealed here. Not only will He heal them, He would take sickness away from their midst. They did not have to worry about catching something.  They would live without the threat of contagious viruses or bacteria. He goes on further to say that there would be no miscarriages or barrenness, and everyone would live to the fullness of their days.

God’s character does not change. He still desires to direct us in the dominion that He has assigned to us. He still wants us to live in health and wholeness with none barren.  We do not have to walk in fear of every news report we hear about sickness and disease around us.  He still wants us to live to the fullness of our days.  It’s His character, and He is the same yesterday, today and forever more.

Say this aloud:

God wants me to be successful in the “promised land” He has assigned for me. I will walk in the dominion that God has designated for me.  I will listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit.  I will serve the Lord.  I know that by Jesus’ stripes, I am already healed.  I am so grateful for the promise that God will take sickness from around me.  In Jesus’ name, Amen!
