Ephesians 6:10

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Trusting God means believing in His nature and His character. Our God is powerful, mighty, faithful, and loving. When we believe in Him, we must have complete and unwavering faith that His power is more than sufficient to carry us through the hardest situations of our lives.

However hopeless or bleak we may feel at times, we should never let those feelings become our reality. We are not people led by feelings, but by faith. You might say, “Yes, I have faith, but my circumstances are different; it’s nothing close to what I believe. How do I navigate this phase?” The answer is that we must have a reality-altering faith, rather than letting our reality alter our faith.

Our God is almighty and powerful. His presence is enough for us to cross over the oceans of depression, cancer, fear, and pain. We must build ourselves up in strength. When we feel weak and feel like it is all over, we must speak truth to ourselves and declare: “I am not done yet. My God is still on the throne, and He saves!” When we trust God and His might, He will manifest His power in our most difficult seasons.

Our God has never abandoned those who follow Him, and He will never go back on His Word. For He said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). So, trust Him today. Whatever your need may be, He is powerful and mighty to fulfill it. He is not only your God, but also your loving Father and Friend. He understands the deepest emotions you’re unable to express, and He knows every unspoken thought. Talk to Him today, and let His power flow through you.
