Jeremiah 33:6 – “Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.”
The Old Testament Israelites were a mixed bunch. There were people who followed God wholeheartedly, and others who rebelled. Some went over the top with their religious practices, while others started worshipping idols. As a nation, they had their ups and downs. They were blessed when they sought God, but were overpowered and taken captive when they moved away from Him.
Yet, the Lord had compassion on His people and always waited for them to turn back to Him. In the verse above, God promises them health, healing and an abundance of peace and truth. Our lives too often mimic the Israelites. We also have our spiritual highs and lows. But our eternal God never changes; His love for us remains the same.
If you are in a spiritually dry season, look to Jesus and claim this verse. He will bring you health and healing. He will cure your unbelief and strengthen your faith. God is not limited by what you think He can do. He is an abundant God and He wants to bless you richly. Seek the Lord wholeheartedly and you will see an abundance of His grace and peace in your life.
