God of Love and Mercy

To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him. Daniel 9:9

Isaiah 49:13 says that Heavens sing and Earth is filled with joy and breaks into praise and singing cause our Lord is a merciful God and comforts His people. Our God is a God of Mercy, that is His nature.

God’s nature is to forgive and be merciful to His children. He is a God of love. In Isaiah 54:8 the Bible says that God’s wrath on us when sin is for a moment, but His mercy is everlasting. Therefore, we must repent of our sins and know that God will forgive us for he is a God of mercy and forgiveness.

We serve a merciful God. God’s mercy outlasts everything. It endures forever. What a powerful promise from our Heavenly Father. A mother can forget to feed her child, but our God will never forget us. He is the God of love and mercy. Every time we falter and lose our way, He is there to guide us back. He does not bear a grudge against us when we go wrong, rather He is a loving father who is waiting with open arms when we realize and repent of our sins.

Dear Lord and merciful Father, we are sinners Lord, yet, you have chosen us as Your children. Thank you for being such a loving and forgiving Father. I am human, Jesus, but I am your creation and I know you love me, Lord. Hold my hand through every day of my Life lord so I may not falter from your path. If I do Lord, I know you are there to forgive me when I repent and will continue to love me. Amen
