God Reveals Himself

Psalm 19:1

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork.

In January 2026, the James Webb Space Telescope captured a high-resolution image of the Helix Nebula, a dying star often called the Eye of God. Despite these scientific advancements, we are still only scratching the surface of the majesty of God’s creative art in the skies.

The intelligent design in creation reveals a Creator. It gives us undeniable evidence of His existence, glory, and power (Romans 1:20). He has hung the planets in space, in nothingness, and none are missing. He knows the heavenly stars by name (Psalms 147:4). The field of science is still discovering and naming them one by one, and this process will never end!

If that is not enough, God, in His sovereignty, came down as a human to reveal Himself intimately to us. Jesus, being the image of the invisible God, reveals to us the heart of His Father (Colossians 1:15). He carried the weight of our human sins on the cursed cross. He endured it all with joy to bring His wayward creatures back into a right standing with God.

Today, we have the Holy Spirit and His Word revealing God, His promises, His will, and His plan. Having revealed Himself, He is beckoning us to trust Him and unashamedly live for Him. He has made us His ambassadors to reveal Him to those without hope.

Aren’t these glorious revelations of God more than enough to throw our lives into His hands? To trust Him unabashedly without fear and anxiety?

God’s appeal to His people is still the same: Return to Me, and I will return to you (Zechariah 1:3). So, how will you respond today to His revelations?
