Hope for the hopeless

Romans 15:13 – “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”

Have you ever felt hopeless? You have faith that God will work things out for you, you know God will never let you down, and yet there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. You’ve been praying about it for weeks and months together, but the situation remains the same. You still trust God, but you seem to have lost any hope that things will get better in your life. Is that how you feel now?

Don’t be disheartened… there is hope! Even though you may not feel it, you need to push yourself to have hope. Hope that God has a better future for you will definitely add a ray of sunshine to your otherwise dreary day. Please, do not lose hope. The verse above says that we will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. If you are feeling hopeless, take some time to connect with God again. Allow His presence to wash over your fears and doubts.

Colossians 1:27 says, “…Christ in you, the hope of glory”. As long as you have Christ, you have hope. Hope, not just for eternal life, but also for your earthly life.
